Admissions Overview

Thank you for your interest in St. Patrick's School. St. Patrick's is a Catholic school which is part of the Archdiocese of Washington. We currently enroll grades K-6 but will be a K-8 school in the fall of 2008. The approximate class size per grade is 24 students with one class per grade.

Open Houses will be offered each fall. Application packages will be distributed at the open houses. Each open house will provide an information session with question and answer time as well as school tours. Teachers will be available at the "Sunday" open house to meet and greet.

Application packages will not be mailed. Interested parents may either download the application from this site or they may drop by the school to pick up the application.

Applications for the following year will be accepted in January. Acceptance letters will be mailed out in early March. Children applying for grades 1-8 will need to come for a visiting day. Applicants will be tested in language arts and mathematics. Applicants must submit teacher recommendations from the current school and transcripts.

Recommendations, transcripts and a visiting day must be complete before a decision is made.

St. Patrick's School has a limited amount of financial aid available to students. St. Patrick's financial aid applications may be picked up from our school office. The Archdiocese of Washington also provides financial aid. Applications for Archdiocesan aid may be downloaded at www.adw.org.
