Opportunities at St. Patrick’s

CLASSROOM ASSISTANTS

Volunteers who would like to work in the classrooms will be assigned to a specific teacher. Duties will include working with children in small group instruction, helping the teacher with paper work or copying, and helping with the basic organization of the classroom.

LIBRARY ASSISTANTS

Library assistants will help with cataloging books, organizing books and shelves and helping students with book checkouts.

TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT

Technology assistants will help the teacher during instructional time working with students on a one on one. Technological assistance may also be needed for software and hardware maintenance.

VOLUNTEER NURSE

Nurse volunteers would be asked to be at the school during the lunch and playground hours to help with needs that arise during the recess time.

COACHING

Coaches are always needed to help with our various teams.

PLEASE NOTE

All volunteers must be fingerprinted and must attend the child protection workshop mandated by the archdiocese of washington before working with children. Forms and additional information can be obtained from the school office or go to www.adw.org. We encourage every parent to completed these steps. Thank you for your cooperation.
